Crib Wall - the adaptable and economical solution
The Design
Concrib crib walls are designed as gravity retaining walls constructed from interlocking precast concrete components, filled with free-draining material and earth backfill. This eliminates the hazards of hydrostatic pressure building up behind your wall.
A system of four header size combinations can be used for different wall heights, up to 20 metres, and can be customised to meet your specific needs.
Our wall designs are in accordance with AS4678 Earth Retaining Structures requirements.
The performance of the Concrib system and components has been fully evaluated and tested by the Queensland University of Technology. A full report is available on request.
Concrib components are manufactured to meet AS3600 Structural Concrete code.
*For walls of greater height, or for extra heavy load situations, different Concrib wall combinations are possible. For example, some of the possibilities available include a double Macro wall that can provide for extra height with a wall thickness of 2350mm, a double Maxi of 1750mm, or Macro/Maxi of 2050mm.
Adaptable
Our walls can blend in with any existing or proposed environment. Planted with flowers, shrubs or creepers that use spaces in the face of wall, you can adapt our walls to suit your needs.
Economical
The standards and quality of our components allow the most economical solutions for various wall heights. The design allows speed and ease of construction at minimum cost, requiring little to no maintenance.
